The British black comedy is directed by John Landis and features Simon Pegg, Andy Serks, Isla Fisher, Tom Wilkinson, Jessica Hynes, Bill Bailey, Christopher Lee, Tim Curry.
The movie is based on 1828 series of sixteen murdered that were done by Burke and Hare in a span of ten months in Edinburg, Scotland. The presents the story of these two murders in a humorous way. Burke and hare are immigrants from Ulster who try to sell cheese but the business fails. So they start a new business to murder people and trade the dead bodies to Dr. Robert Knox for his anatomical experiments in exchange for money.
