The Irish Canadian Christmas biographical film is directed by Bharat Nalluri. The movie is based on Les Standford’s book by the same name and revolves around the life of Charles Dickens. The movie features Dan Stevens, Christopher Plummer, Johnathan Pryce, Morfdd Clark, Justin Edwards, Simon Callow, Miriam Margolyes, and Anna Murphy.
After writing three unsuccessful novels, Charles Dickens is desperate to write a novel that will make him famous and financially stable. In his fourth attempt, he picks up real-life incidents and adds his vivid imagination to them. The amalgamation of real-life stories and creative imagination gives birth to many classic characters.
