The Japanese anthology original video animation was directed by Atsuko Fukushima, Hidetoshi Oomori, Hiroyuki Kitakubo, Hiroyuki Kitazume, Katsuhiro Otomo, Koji Morimoto, Mao Lando, Takashi Nakamura, and Yasuomi Umetsu. The fantasy movie takes the audience through eight segments and shows variations in the themes of robots.
