The American crime thriller film is written and directed by Pamela Romanowsky. The movie is based on Stephen Elliot’s book by the same name. The movie features James Franco, Ed Harris, Amber Heard, JIM Parrack, Timothee Chalamet, Daniel Flaherty, Cynthia Nixon, and Christian Slater.
Stephen Elliott had a troubled childhood a shis mother died when he was young and had an physically and psychologically abusive father. He become a successful writer but eventually his success fades away, to revive his career he writes a book on Hans Reiser a software guru whose wife was murdered and he was taken into custody as a major suspect.
