A young girl and her brother unearth a gem that has the power to manipulate an ancient creature bent on destroying the Universe, and they use it to make him do their bidding. Mimi and Luke, siblings, unintentionally resurrect an ancient alien overlord. They compel the mutant to follow their childish impulses with an enchanted amulet, inadvertently attracting a rogues’ gallery of intergalactic assassins to small-town suburbia.
