Summary:
Set against the backdrop of World War II, Lubo follows a Yenish street performer who is conscripted into the Swiss army to defend the nation’s borders. Upon his return, he is devastated to learn that his wife has died, and the authorities have forcibly taken his three children as part of a state-led assimilation program targeting traveling communities. Determined to reunite with his family, Lubo embarks on a desperate and emotional journey, facing the harsh realities of a society that views him as an outsider.
