Kapkapiii directed by the late Sangeeth Sivan is a hilariously spooky horror comedy that explores the disastrous and unintended consequences of dabbling with the supernatural. The story centers on a close knit clique of friends sharing a house who desperately seeking a cheap thrill to break up their mundane routine, decide to use an Ouija board to jokingly contact a ghost. What begins as a lighthearted skeptical game for fun quickly spiral completely out of control when thy inadvertently summon the very real advent of a powerful female spirit. As inexplicable and terrifying supernatural events begin to plague their daily lives the terrified friends soon realize that their once safe home has become undeniably haunted.
