The Japanese animated cyberpunk action film is co-written and directed by Katuhiro Otomo. The movie features the voices of Mitsuo Iwata, Nozomu Sadsaki, Mami Koyama, Taro Ishida, Mizuho Suzuki, and Tetsusho Genda.
The Japanese government throws an atomic bomb on children during an experiment. Kaneda, a biker gang leader in 2019, tries to save his friend Tetsuo from a secret government project. He fights with anti-government activists, greedy politicians and irresponsible scientists and powerful military leaders.
