Fighting Spirit: Champion Road is a 2003 TV movie. It follows the story of Ippo Makunouchi, a high school student who becomes the new Featherweight champion of Japan. Ippo must now defend his title against the best boxers available. His first title defense is against Sanada Kazuki, a former Jr. Featherweight champion and medical student.
