The Japanese animated drama film is directed by Tatsuya Ishihara and Yasuhiro. The movie is based on Nagaru Tanigawa’s novel by the same name.
The movie is a sequel to ‘The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya’. The plot restarts in the month of December when Haruhi Suzumiya is set to attend a nabe party. When her classmates return they see that Haruhi and Itsuki Koizumi are missing. That’s not the only thing that’s off, Ryoko Asakura has returned and Mikuru Asahina has lost memory.
