The Japanese anime film is co-written and directed by Mamoru Hosoda. The movie features the voices of Aoi Miyazaki, Haru Kuroki, Takao Osawa, Yukito Nishil, Megumi Hayashibara, Micah Solusod, and Lara Woodhull.
Hana, a human being marries a wolf and is blessed with two children. Their destinies take a turn when the wolf dies and Hana is left alone with the two kids. They move to the countryside and start living a new life. The children have adventures in the woods and at school.
