Mitch Nelson, a US Army Captain with Green Berets Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) 595, is moving into another home with his better half and girl on September 11, 2001, subsequent to getting a task to staff obligation under LTC Bowers. As the information on the overwhelming psychological militant assaults that sunrise, Nelson volunteers to lead 595 into Afghanistan.
