A magical urban tale about a beautiful San Francisco psychologist who decides to pursue a stalled romance with her longtime, high-profile, psychotherapist lover/business partner. She moves on with her life by opening her private practice in a vacant, street-facing office space in the middle of a small commercial block located across the bay in Oakland, a predominantly African-American and psychologically neglected neighbourhood that emotionally transforms.
