Adverse is a gritty, well-crafted drama with scenes that pack a punch to keep your attention, as well as a few unexpected twists. ADVERSE is a slow-burning film that begins with us learning about Ethan and how his life isn’t exactly what he’d hoped for. Things start to turn when he picks up Kaden (Rourke) in his car and learns that his sister owes money. He tries to look after his sister, who definitely appears to have a rebellious side, putting his nerves to the test.
