The romantic drama film is based on the life of a British paleontologist Marry Anning. The movie is written and directed by Francis Lee and features Kate Winslet, Saorise Ronan, Gemma Jones, James Mcardle, Alec Secareanu, and Fiona Shaw.
Mary Anning and Charlotte meet each other when Charlotte’s husband takes her to Mary’s shop. He asks many to take Charlotte to the beach every day to collect fossils. He thinks that the activity can spark a new life for Charlotte and cure her melancholy. Very soon a romantic relationship starts between Mary and Charlotte that will affect their life and future decisions.
