Callum Lynch witnessed his father murder his mother when he was a child. He is now being executed for murder, 30 years later. The execution, however, is staged, and instead of dying, he is sent to a special facility. It turns out that he is a descendant of a master assassin from the 15th century. The objective is to teach him his forefather’s ways. He will be able to combat the Templars as a result of this.
