The American drama film is based on Christian Torpe’s novel ‘Silent Heart. The movie is directed by Roger Mitchell and features Susan Sarandon, Kate Winslet, Mia Wasikowska, Lindsay Duncan, Rainn Wilson, Bex Taylor-Klaus, and Sam Neil.
Lily was a patient of ALS and now wants to get rid of the disease by ending her life. Her husband and herself plan a weekend holiday for their daughters t bid them the last goodbye. The holiday that was to be a happy and loving family gathering turns bitter when the unresolved conflict between her daughters and Lily comes up.
