The American romantic black comedy is directed by Gary Winick and features Anne Hathway, Kate Hudson, Kristen Johnston, Bryan Greenberg and Candice Bergen. Emma and Lil are childhood best friends. They witnessed a wedding in Plaza Hotel twenty years ago and since then have been planning their own weddings to the most minute detail. They have planned to marry in the same location in the month of June. Both their boyfriends propose to them for marriage and the preparations for the wedding starts. They both were excited to be each other’s bride’s maid and schedule their wedding on different dates but because of some error, both their weddings are scheduled on the same date 6 June. This causes both of the friends to show their ugliest side and that threatens their lifelong friendship.
