The series starts with the event of Mike Amenechi (Daniel Etim Effiong) winning a lawsuit of 200M for Castle and Castle’s largest client, HMG. This motivates Mike to lobby for the feature of a partner, having spent 7 years at the firm. Tega Castle rejects this. Mike, however, notes that the philanthropism of Professor Tega will spoil the firm. Ignoring the needs of his wife, Remi, Professor Tega takes up the case of Aminu, a baby bride in the North who murdered her husband. Remi’s father, Duke Akintola, stirs up the contention between himself and Tega.
Tega, in a bid to preserve away from blowing the case over in view that C and C had been implicated in the recording, threatens the pick to resign as he has incriminating proof towards him, ample to motive his arrest. Here, Tega lands a punch on the Judge. Tega is of the same opinion to drop the case of license revocation after talks with Remi. He is met in courtroom docket by the Judge, who guarantees to make his existence miserable
