The biographical drama film is directed by Wash Westmoreland and features Kiera Knightly, Pamela Koffer Micheal Litvak, and Christine Vachon. The movie is based on the life of Colette a French author, actress, and journalist.
When Colette moves to Paris she agrees to write a semi-autobiographical novel for her husband. The becomes a success in no time and her achievement inspires her to overcome social norms and fight for creative ownership of women in the 20th century.
