The British psychological thriller film is directed by Roger Michell and is based on Ina McEwan’s book by the same name. The movie features Daniel Craig, Rhys Ifans, Samantha Morton and Bill Nighy.
Joe plans a picnic for his girlfriend Claire in the countryside. As they reach the picnic spot, they see a hot air balloon crashing to the ground with the pilot and boy in it. Joe along with other at the picnic try to reach the spot and to save the lives. But suddenly the wind started blowing to the direction of the hot air balloon making it start floating again. But one of the rescuers loses balance and drops off the balloon and dies on the ground. Joe is disturbed from the incident and years later he recalls it and tries to look for answer for the death of the man.
