“Equals” recalls the data of the planet Vulcan as in the Star Trek universe. The Vulcans had been passionate, violent human beings that almost wiped themselves out thru war, then reconfigured their society to suppress emotions. The film’s opening shows that Nia and Silas’ world misplaced most of its population and livable land to war. Nia and Silas are two work drones who stay in solitary cubicles, get up every day, gown all in white, and labour in some futuristic collective recognized as the Collective. Equals, a science fiction story of a neighborhood of human beings solid after something horrible passed off to the world. This movie takes region after the powers-that-be figured out how to acquire a harmonious world.
