The independent black comedy is based on a newspaper article by Jon Ronson. The movie is directed by Lenny Abrahamson and features Domhnall Gleeson. Maggie Gyllenhaal, Scoot McNairy, Michael Fassbender, Carla Azar, and Francois Civil.
An aspiring musician joins a pop group led by Frank a strange man who wears a paper-mache mask all the time. The genre of music that the band makes is completely different from the young musician’s genre and he feels irrelevant to the group. As the group prepares to record their first album, their personal issues take over and create tensions leading to unexpected events in their lives.
