The American action spy comedy thriller is based on Mel Brooks Buck Henry’s novel by the same name. The movie is directed by Peter Segal and features Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson, Alan Arkin, Terence Stamp and James Can.
The US spy agency is attacked by a crime syndicate KAOS. The chief of the spy agency promoted his eager analyst Maxwell Smart to investigate the case. Maxwell is partnered with Agent 99, a veteran agent of the spy agency. The inexperienced Maxwell and an intelligent Agent 99 team up to expose KAOS and its chief Siegfried.
