HIGH GROUND is a film set in the breathtaking landscapes of 1930s Arnhem Land about a young Aboriginal man named Gutjuk who, in order to save the last of his kin, teams up with ex-soldier Travis to track down Baywara, the Territory’s most dangerous warrior and also his uncle.Travis and Gutjuk win each other’s trust as they travel through the outback, but when the realities of Travis’ past actions are abruptly exposed, he becomes the hunted.
