Jeanne, a timid young woman, works at an amusement park late at night. She also lives with her extrovert mother Margarette, who is fascinated by carousels. Despite the fact that no man can fit in with the rocky and peculiar couple, Jeanne develops a strange friendship with Jumbo, the park’s current flagship attraction. Jumbo, a striking and lively merry-go-round, soon seems to be interacting with her.
