When the young man Abdel is rushed to the hospital in a coma after being beaten at the police station, protests erupt on the outskirts of Paris, and one police officer loses his revolver. The Arab Said summons his Jewish friend Vinz the next morning, and the two of them meet the black boxer Hubert in the slum where they live. Vinz then shows Abdel the missing gun he discovered the night before and threatens that if Abdel dies, he will avenge his friend for killing a cop. The trio of troublemakers and pothead pals travel to Paris’s central business district, where they spend the day begging for trouble. Tragic events occur at the end of a long night.
