Joe Coughlin a world war I Irish veteran is now a man involved in big robberies. He is in love with Emma who is the mistress of the rival gang’s boss Albert White. Joe and Emma decide to flee to California but before that Joe is caught in a bank robbery case and murder of three police officers. When he returns he finds Emma cheating on him with White.
