The historical drama film is directed by Josie Rorke, and is based on John Guy’s 2004 book ‘Queen of Scots: The True Life of Mary Stuart’. The movie features Saoirse Ronan, Margot Robbie, Jack Alwyn, David Tennant, and Guy Pearce.
Mary Stuart becomes the queen of France at the age of sixteen but becomes a widow at the age of eighteen. Instead of remarrying, she comes back to reclaim her throne. But finding her place on the phone is not in to be easy for her as Scotland and England come under the rule of. Queen Elizabeth and there is an air of fear and insecurity between the two for giving the throne to the rightful.
