Synopsis:
Marie reluctantly leaves behind her life in Copenhagen to follow her partner, Rasmus, to the small rural town of Velling, where he has taken a teaching job at a local college. While Rasmus eagerly embraces his new surroundings and gets absorbed in the life of the college, Marie struggles to adjust. Facing a stark culture shock, she finds herself out of place in the quiet countryside, navigating quirky locals, unfamiliar traditions, and her own doubts about whether she truly belongs.
