Mononoke Movie 2: Hinezumi marks the return of the enigmatic Medicine Seller as he is drawn into the secluded world of an Edo period harem. To confront the Mononoke the Medicine Seller must once again unravel its Form, Truth, and Reason, exposing the painful secrets that fuel its existence. Directed by Kenji Nakamura and Kiyotaka Suzuki the film blends psychological tension stylized horror and traditional aesthetics to explore how unchecked emotions can manifest as something truly monstrous.
