Josey Aimes, a single mother, is one of the first women to work at a Minnesota iron mine. Men at Eveleth Mines are enraged that they have to work with women, and they strike out at them, sexually harassing them. Despite family and friends’ warnings, Josey files a landmark sexual harassment lawsuit, outraged by the relentless stream of insults, sexually explicit language, and physical abuse.
