Old Man directed by Adrian Delcan follows Lewis Segovia a naïve and idealistic young film director who abruptly abandons his movie in the middle of production, convinced that finishing it without first finding meaning” would be dishonest. As he drifts further from the set, pressure mounts from his frusrated cast and crew whose livelihoods and faith in him hang in the balance. Gradually, the boundary between the story he was trying to tell on screen and his own unresolved life begins to erode. Forced to confront fragments of a painful and broken past he has long avoided Lewis realizes that escaping his film is no different from escaping himself. The project can only be completed once he accepts that meaning is not something discovered elsewhere, but something forged through reckoning, responsibility, and unfinished truths.
