OUR FRIEND is based on the true story of the Teague family, which includes journalist Matt, his lively wife Nicole, and their two young daughters, and how their lives are turned upside down when Nicole is diagnosed with terminal cancer. When Matt’s duties as a caregiver and parent become too much for him, the couple’s best friend Dane Faucheux offers to help. Dane’s decision to put his life on hold in order to be with his friends had a much greater and more profound effect than anyone could have expected.
