Jean-Baptiste Grenouille is a perfume genius and has an incredible talent for making the best perfume. In the pursuit of making the world’s finest perfume he kidnaps, kills young women, and extracts the scent of young womanhood from them. This makes him kill twelve young girls but remains unrecognizable by the town.
