A team of explorers and scientists and start on a journey to find the origins of mankind. Two young scientists lead the expedition – Elisabeth Shaw and Charlie Holloway. Shaw believes that at the other side of the expedition they’ll see god-like beings who will verify her religious belief but Holloway does not believe in any such notions. The journey towards the search waits for unimaginable terrors and discoveries.
