Shadow of God directed by Michael Peterson, follows an elite exorcist who undertakes a forbidden ritual in a desperate attempt to save his own father from possession. During the unauthorized exorcism he begins to sense that the entity inhabiting his father may not be a demonic force at all. As the ritual intensifies unsettling signs suggest the preence might be something far more complex and terrifying possibly a divine being itself. Torn between faith doctrine and personal conviction the exorcist is forced to confront the terrifying possibility that he may be challenging someting sacred rather than evil. The film blends theological mystery with supernatural horror exploring belief doubt, and the dangerous consequences of questioning the nature of the divine.
