Smuggler Han Solo is rescued from the clutches of the vile gangster Jabba the Hutt by his buddies Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian, and Chewbacca as the wicked Emperor Palpatine oversees the creation of the new Death Star by Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire. Solo returns to the Rebel fleet after leaving Luke Skywalker’s Jedi training with Master Yoda to prepare for his final fight with the Empire. Darth Vader captures the newly returned Luke Skywalker during the ensuing battle.
