The British comedy-drama film is directed by John Madden and is based on Ol Parker’s 2004 novel ‘These Foolish Things. The movie features Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Penelope Wilton, Dev Patel, Celia Imrie, Ronald Pickup, Tom Wilkinson, and Maggie Smith.
Some British retirees decided to repent their retirement days in a less-expensive hotel in India and come to Marigold Hotel. Lured by the advertisements they book the hotel but end up being disappointed. But soon they realize that they can enjoy the place if they let go of their past and embrace the beauty of the present.
