When a corpse is found alive at sea, the mystery man seems to have forgotten everything about his past, including his name. Eventually, he starts to recall minor information from his experience, and he discovers that his name was Jason Bourne. The weapons and fake passports that belong to him irritate him. Bourne and his new friend Marie Helena Kreutz are now moving around the world in search of his new identity. Someone, however, is not pleased to see him alive and is desperately trying to find him.
