Hal, the rebellious prince, and reluctant heir to the English throne has abandoned royal life and is now living among the commoners. But, after the death of Hal’s brother, and before Hal’s tyrannical father dies, placing Hal on the throne, Hal has no choice but to accept the title of King Henry V and return to the life he had previously tried to avoid. Now the young king must navigate the palace politics, confusion, and enemies that his father left behind, and enlist the assistance of John Falstaff, an old long-time acquaintance, mentor, and aging alcoholic knight.
