The Legend of Ochi directed by Isaiah Saxon, is an enchanting fantasy adventure that explores the bonds of unlikely friendship and the courage it takes to challenge deep rooted tradition . Set in a remote and secluded village on the mystical island of Carpathia, the story follows a timid young girl who like everyone else in her community has been raised to deeply fear the “ochi” an elusive and misunderstood animal species that roam the surrounding wilderness. However her entire worldview is turned upside down when she stumbles upon a wounded, abandoned baby ochi. Unable to leave the helpless creature to its fate, she makes a brave and defiant choice. Sneaking away from her restrictive village she embarks on a perilous and heartwarming quest to reunite the baby with its family. Along her journey through breathtaking and dangerous landscape she must overcome her own fears, outsmart those hunting them and prove that compassion is stronger than prejudice.
