The movie is a medieval black comedy released in 2017. The movie is written and directed by Jeff Baena and features Alison Brie, Dave Franco, Kate Micucci, Aubrey Plaza, John C Relly, and Molly Shanon.
The movie goes back to the time of the 14th century where three nuns living in the countryside try to fornicate with a young gardener employed in the same convent. The gardener who is a fraud gets the job playing a deaf and mute person. The secret that the nuns have been hiding comes into the light and not just exposes themselves but others in the convent too.
