And of all places, Belgium. What else is there in Belgium besides chocolate and fries? Whatever the case, this year it was Hannes and Kiki’s time to decide where their yearly bike trip with their closest friends would go. Since they are all aware that their time together is what matters most, they are all looking forward to the experience. Hannes doesn’t reveal to his pals that he has a terminal illness until the trip has already started.
This will be his final journey. The party initially feels helpless and shocked, but after they get back on the road, they start their wild and unique experience. Armed with a to-do list of the things that still remain to be done, and knowing that after this journey nothing will be the same, they celebrate life like never before.
