When one of their own, Jean Gray, begins to spiral out of control, the X-Men face their most powerful and potent adversary. Jean is almost killed during a rescue mission in outer space when she is struck by a mysterious cosmic power. This force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but much more unstable, once she returns home. In order to save her soul and battle aliens who intend to use Grey’s new powers to conquer the galaxy, the X-Men must now band together.
