“Golden Slumber” is a 2010 Japanese thriller film Directed by Yoshihiro Nakamura. The movie is based on a novel of the same name written by Kotaro Isaka.
The story follows Aoyagi (played by Masato Sakai), an ordinary deliveryman who suddenly becomes the target of a nationwide manhunt after he is falsely accused of assassinating a prominent politician. Aoyagi finds himself caught in a web of conspiracy and danger as he tries to clear his name and uncover the truth behind the assassination plot.
As Aoyagi goes on the run, he encounters various characters who offer help or pose a threat. He must rely on his wits, resourcefulness, and unexpected alliances to evade capture and expose the real culprits behind the political assassination.
