“Shin Godzilla” (also known as “Godzilla Resurgence”) is a 2016 Japanese kaiju film Directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi. It serves as a reboot of the iconic “Godzilla” franchise and presents a modern take on the classic monster.
The film takes a unique approach by focusing on the response of the Japanese government and various agencies to the appearance of Godzilla, a colossal and destructive creature that emerges from Tokyo Bay.
