“Yatterman” is a 2009 Japanese action-comedy film Directed by Takashi Miike. The movie is based on the classic anime series “Science Ninja Team Gatchaman” created by Tatsuo Yoshida.
The story is set in a fictional world where the villainous Doronbo Gang, led by the villainess Doronjo (played by Kyoko Fukada), is constantly scheming to steal valuable artifacts. The gang’s plans are consistently thwarted by the heroic Yatterman duo, Gan (played by Sho Sakurai) and Ai (played by Saki Fukuda), who use their advanced technology and mecha to protect the innocent.
