The notion of falling in love is cherished by George, a teenager. This dream seems to be within reach during his school days, then during his college days for a second time, and yet it does not materialise. This gradual metamorphosis of his passion, his attempt to woo his lovers, his sudden failures harden him, but he is eventually able to settle down with someone far younger than himself, whom he met during his childhood. The film transcends the viewpoints and limits of love for its audience.
