The film is wealthy in atmospherics, and adding to it and giving the story its considerable edge is Sushin Shyam’s BGM. Littil Swayamp’s camera plays with tones and points while splendidly catching the disposition of the account. Coarse, smooth and evil, Varathan is without a doubt Amal’s best film up until this point. Obviously, the chief hasn’t kept away from his interest for moderate movements or radiant camera points yet, this time, style accompanies a spirit, inseparably, making an astounding and alarming rhythm.
